Two new 4th Dan Black Belts

After the recent success of Collin's 6th Dan black belt and Danny's 5th Dan black belt, it was the the turn of both Sasha Haydon and Lee Dawson to be awarded their 4th Dan black belts. Sasha has trained under Collin since 1992, during that time Sasha has competed up to international level, now teaching at our Poole area clubs and is part of the SEKF grading panel. Lee started karate with Collin shortly after Sasha as a young boy, during his time at the club Lee has competed nationally at both kumite and kata, and is now part of the SEKF squad coaching team, Lee also teaches at our Poole based clubs. Congratulations guys and thank you both for your commitment to our karate federation over the years.

In addition to our new 4th Dan black belts, Nick Isaacson also managed to achieve his 1st Dan black belt after a three hour course, followed by  a tough grading. Nick will be off to University either at Manchester or Bristol in September but has promised to keep up his hard training and visit our club as often as possible. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Nick all the best in his endeavors. Congratulations Nick.
