Ticky Donovan Awards Senior Dan Grades

Ticky Donovan OBE, 9th Dan, ran an excellent course on June 29th covering basics and kumite with John Gardiner assisting with the kata training. Everybody trained extrememly hard and thoroughly enjoyed the course, especially Danny, who was keen to impress Ticky in the hope of achieving his 5th Dan black belt, he was successful and Ticky remarked that it reminded him of his days training Danny as the England coach. Ticky was impressed with the overall standard of the students and awarded Collin his 6th Dan black belt, a great honour to receive from such a renowned karateka.
